Rowayton Inspires New TV Series Featuring Rebellious Teen Lifeguard

In a television series filmed in and inspired by Rowayton, a rebellious teenager named Krish Shetty becomes the first Indian lifeguard in an exclusive beach town community called Pointe May.

Chaos quickly ensues in this new half-hour comedy series, as Shetty takes an interest in one of the most popular girls in town and forms unusual friendships with townspeople along the way, including her loner younger brother.

Based on the experiences of its creators, “The Pointe” is written by Rowayton native Clay Morsey Jr. and Stamford native Vishnu Prasad, who met as students at AITE High School in Stamford and reconnected after college.
